This frame lock is on the larger side in my opinion. Because of its size, it’s not for the faint at heart. The frames and back spacer are made from 6AL-4V titanium. The frames have been anodized a light bronze color, and the backspacer, screws, and belt clip are a dark bronze. I think it gives it a very Clean & Classy look. Edges have all been broken/chamfered for a more comfortable feel in the hand. The W2 Tool Steel blade pivots on ceramic ball bearings in stainless cages. The blade has a hand rubbed Cold Blue finish. This is NOT a mirror polished Hot Blue….so the blade is very dark, but you will be able to see slight color variations in different light. Gives a slightly rustic look without taking away from the dark blade finish.
This knife has a nice early lock up, as well as an almost hydraulic type feel drop free closure. It opens very quickly and smoothly with just a flick of the flipper tab. The faster you flick your finger, the faster she opens. When closing keep your finger clear of the blade edge, no need for the blade to kiss your finger.
If you’ve been in the market for a custom, this Bronze Conflict is for you.
